We offer the 3M™ Cloth Cone 361F as an aluminum oxide sanding cone constructed on an YF-weight, water resistant polyester cloth backing. Our cloth cones mount onto a compatible mandrel (sold separately) that attaches to a rotary tool such as a die grinder or drill.

Invaluable for reaching otherwise inaccessible areas, 3M™ Cloth Cone 361F is engineered with fast-cutting aluminum oxide abrasive grains bonded to a heavy water-resistant polyester backing. Attached to a rotary tool, this cone enables precise, expert results on tapered contours while helping to reduce wrist fatigue.

Fast-Cutting and Resilient Abrasive

Our 3M™ Cloth Cone 361F is constructed with fast-cutting aluminum oxide abrasive grains that are bonded to a heavy polyester roll backing. This tough aluminum oxide abrasive performs well on many surfaces and is water resistant. A sturdy binding agent, the heat-resistant resin adheres the abrasive to the backing for stability and durability.

Tough Solution for an Exceptional Finish

3M™ Cloth Cone 361F delivers excellent results for tough finishing applications. Use cones for hard-to-reach areas inside castings, removing flaws, cracks, and metal in corners. Be sure that the center hole diameter of the cone is equal to the diameter of the mandrel pilot inserted into the cone.
