This open-web sheet delivers all the great benefits you expect from Scotch-Brite™ products—it conforms to uneven surfaces and leaves an incredibly consistent finish without undercutting the workpiece—but is engineered with increased stiffness to provide added durability for medium-pressure applications. Compared to our standard Scotch-Brite™ Clean and Finish Sheet, this sheet is denser and more resistant to tearing. Choose this sheet for medium-pressure cleaning, scratch blending, and creating satin finishes on aluminum, stainless steel and other metals. It is also suitable for use on plastics, wood and fiberglass.
Fast Cut and Long Life
Aluminum oxide is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used in grinding applications in addition to sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.
