Description
Mechanical wire cutter with set screw and opening spring for easy removal of insulation from electrical conductors, including conventional and stranded wires. Suitable for single, multi-stranded, and finely stranded conductors. Drop-forged from tempered steel, with cutting edges induction hardened to approx. 44 HRC. VDE insulated up to 1,000 V, with protective insulation according to IEC 60900‑AC 1,000 V / DC 1,500 V. Chrome-plated and equipped with a 2-component handle for secure handling.
