Athena Power AP-U3ATX60FEP8 is a 3U single 600W server PSU designed for IPC and Server 24/7 use. This server power supply includes the Active PFC function and is rated at 80PLUS Bronze certified efficiency. Equipped with dual 60mm ball-bearing fans strategically placed on the rear and front of the power supply to exhaust generated heat from the core of the server/system, the AP-U3ATX60FEP8 features a Smart Auto Fan Speed Controller for heat solutions. Maintaining their policy of “True Green Power” Athena Power has brought efficiency even to their new 3U server line. Active PFC and Full Range Input The Active PFC and full range function provides a smarter PSU. Able to detect the difference of wattage that is needed to power up your system, you can be rest assured as it will provide and maintain the most suitable power needed. Dual Fan With its dual fan features located at the front and back of the power supply, the rear fan intakes the heat that is produced inside the server or system and pushes it through the front fan. The design allows the power supply to be able to take 100% of the heat that is generated by the interior system and pushes it out of the server/system. While some other PSU fans work differently, this dual fan design is targeted to maintain a reliable source of power and keeping the system cool. Some may second guess this dual fan feature because it will increase noise volumes, but with its thermal fan speed controller it will detect the amount of heat generated by the server/system and spin accordingly. Smart Auto Fan Speed Controller Athena Power’s AP-U3ATX60FEP8 thermal fan speed controller will detect the amount of heat generated by the server/system. Using this controller to detect the heat levels, it will automatically adjust the fan speed to maintain an optimum temperature and the need to worry about the heat levels, of a PSU, becomes almost non-existent.
