The Velleman K8028 Multifunctional Dimmer Kit can be used on many applications to slowly turn on a light which provides for a longer life cycle for the bulbs. This kit can handle both a low voltage light bulb and a high voltage light bulb e.g. halogen light. The Velleman K8028 has two built-in interval timer that can be set for 5 seconds to 2 hours when using the learning mode. Another function that this kit has is a speed controller. It can adjust the speed of a fan using this function. This programmable kit will not lose its memory during a power outage.
