Its premium design, 65-mil thickness and excellent conformability provide reliable insulation and durable sealing or padding over bus bar and splice connector applications to keep them safe even when they're being worked upon. This insulator has a temperature rating of 194 degrees F (90 degrees C).Scotch® Rubber Mastic Tape 2228 consisting of an ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) backing coated with an aggressive, temperature-stable mastic adhesive on a liner. Designed for electrical insulating and moisture sealing, intended for both indoor and weather exposed outdoor applications including resistance to UV exposure.
