The low weight of the SIMPLEX aluminium housing (series 3122) allows for work with extreme precision on sensitive workpieces and materials that break easily. The user regulates the impact force themselves. Another advantage is that the lightweight soft-face mallet can easily be carried along in the belt loop. Robust and dampening vibrations, the housing is very durable and offers excellent break resistance - not least thanks to its wear-resistant powder coating. It comes with an integrated handle protection sleeve, protecting the handle in case of mis-strikes, and is available for SIMPLEX soft-face mallets with sizes ranging from D30mm to D60mm. No inserts made of copper or soft metal may be installed in the aluminium housing!Delivering high precision inserts is possible thanks to an extremely lightweight-housing. Mallets with this housing are precise and well suited for work on sensitive workpieces.
