When you need to create a secure connection, choose a 3M Scotchlok Color-Coded Heat Shrink Butt Connector. It is made of electrolytic copper for good conductivity and has a seamless barrel that is lined with an adhesive to keep moisture out. The tin-plated finish helps protect it from corrosion. It is appropriate for use at a maximum temperature of 221 degrees F (105 degrees C).3M™ Scotchlok™ Heat Shrink Butt Connector is color-coded for quick and easy identification of the wire size required. This versatile connector has a seamless barrel that is covered by see-through, pre-insulated transparent tubing to provide seal resistance to water, salt and other contaminants when crimped and shrunk. The heat shrink tubing offers better pullout strength and strain relief when shrunk.
