Description
3M Stikit Paper Disc Roll 763U discs provide the toughness, cut-rate, and flexibility required for aggressive woodworking, paint prep, and metal finishing applications, all with the convenience of a pressure sensitive adhesive backing that allows easy application to a 3M Stikit Disc Pad, as well as quick clean removal from the pad.Our discs feature a mineral blend of aluminum oxide and 3M™ Ceramic Abrasive Grain, a very tough synthetic mineral engineered to fracture frequently for a super fast cut. The combination of the ceramic/aluminum oxide mineral blend and heavy paper backing make this a top choice for aggressive sanding applications such as paint stripping or stock removal. This product can be used on both rotary and random orbital tools, for applications in metalworking and woodworking.
3M™ Stikit™ discs are high-quality, coated abrasive products with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside to allow easy application and removal. A Stikit disc must be pressed onto a backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a rotary disc sander or random orbital sander. Stikit disc rolls make it easy to tear off a single disc, and save you time and money by eliminating a liner.
Our 3M™ Ceramic Abrasive Grain is a ceramic mineral designed using a 3M proprietary process to enhance toughness and hardness of the grain. 3M™ Stikit™ Paper Disc Roll 763U products feature aluminum oxide blended with 3M ceramic grain for a harder, longer-lasting abrasive. Perfect for moderate to heavy stock removal as well as finishing, ceramic abrasives are engineered to cut fast and handle intense heat and stress applications. Ceramic/aluminum oxide blend surpasses aluminum oxide abrasives in cut-rate and durability and makes an excellent choice for difficult grinding applications.
