Description
The RIDGID RE 600 SC CU/AL (57633) Electrical Cutting Tool with ACSR Cutter Head provides maximum efficiency when used for high-volume dedicated cutting applications. It cuts up to 477 kcmil (MCM) ACSR and is equipped with a blade guide to keep the blades aligned.
The RE 600 is optimized for size, weight and balance to ensure stable performance. The crimp head can be rotated 360 degrees for better access in tight spaces, while the tool body features an inline design that allows for easy, one-handed operation.
When the RE 600 is operated, an internal electric motor powers its hydraulic pump, which supplies fluid to the cylinder of the tool, moving the ram forward and applying a 6-ton force to the specially designed tool head.
The RE 600 is equipped with two fabric loops that can be used with various attachments, such as shoulder straps or tie off lanyards. The RE 600 also features a bright work light that turns on when the run switch is depressed, allowing users to easily illuminate work areas.
