Chocolate not included

There is no chocolate, true, but the point of the kit is to get your kid making artistic choclates with the molds and things. I'd honestly rather buy the choclate I want and use this to make cool shapes. it does have some good lessons in it and it's a great way to inspire a kid who is a budding foody. Not a bad deal.

Where is the Chocolate

Bought this for my grandson to make a birthday gift for his mother. I expected to need regular

kitchen gear and supervision, what I did not expect was that a kit for 8 years plus would come with note saying--it goes without saying not to smoke,----- the box says-- Want to make sweet chocolate treats and learn some physical science while you are at it? With this kit you can mold chocolate shapes, wrap them in foils and make cool folded boxes for them. Then you can give them to your family and friends for the holidays! there is more--Make a box of chocolates for Valentines day.---perfect gift to let a child make a gift for mom----except there is no chocolate-- none --and instructions are not clear on the type of chocolate that needs tempering. Imagine how upsetting this is to a ten year old. I would not suggest this to anyone--unless you are into origami, 44 folds a bit much for even a gifted 10 year old. The pieces that are included seem well made the instructions clear. lots of info on calories, condensation and such. The big issue here is where is the chocolate. Like buying a chemistry kit with no chemicals. What is the point?
