Velleman K8048 Pic Programmer & Experiment Board

Use this experimenting board as a multi-functional programmer for PIC micro-controllers. Ideal for those looking to learn and expand programming knowledge, the board comes with enclosed Flash Micro-controller (PIC16F627), which allows you up to a thousand reprograms. The K8048 is suitable for use with Microchip® FLASH PIC micro-controllers in the 300mil DIP type package: 8p, 14p, 18p and 28p. You can easily connect the PIC Programmer to your PC through a serial port, but take note that the programmer is not compatible with a RS232 converter. From there, the K8048 kit (w/ built-in LED indicators and test buttons) includes all you need with programming examples and software for source coding.
