Have you ever want to start programming PIC (Programmable Interface Control) but don’t want to design and make the supporting circuit? The Velleman VM142 to the rescue! This Velleman module makes programming a bit easier with its ready-made buffered inputs and outputs and on-board LEDs, relay output, and buzzer. The board has nine freely programmable inputs and outputs (4 inputs, 5 outputs). There is also an LED indicator for the power supply/relay output, and programmable LED indicator. You don’t need to remove the PIC16F63 microcontroller for programming; the board has built-in buzzer and ICSP connectors. PIC™ programmer supports PIC16F630. The VM142 has four NPN transistor inputs, four NPN transistor outputs, and one relay output NO/ NC contact (24 Volts @ 2 Amps). Pair this module with other Velleman programming boards such as the VM134 to put your programming skills to work.
