Description
The klein D248-8 is a pair of insulated high-leverage diagonal-cutting pliers with an angled head. These pliers are individually tested to exceed standards, and have an angled head for easier work in confined spaces. These pliers have a high-leverage design, which means that the rivet is closer to the cutting edge for 36 percent greater cutting power than other plier designs. These pliers are made of custom US-made tool steel and feature integral guards that help prevent hand contact with conductive parts.
Heavy duty cutter also protects against electrical hazards up to 1,000 volts in compliance with common safety standards, two layers of insulation in most models, three layers as noted.
